Simone Peluso was born in Bologna in August 1997. His relationship with moving images began through parkour, filming afternoons spent training with his group. What started as documentation became a way of experimenting with different formats, rhythm and editing. Through his brother, a music producer, he later found his way into music videos. After seven years in Milan, Simone is increasingly drawn to the idea of living without a fixed base — moving through places, projects and different cultures. His work is rooted in the music world, where he has developed a visual language that moves between strength and sensitivity. In 2023, he was named Best Director Under 25 at the Videoclip Italia Awards, followed by Best Director in 2025. Beyond filmmaking, his research moves through astrology, holistic practices and human psychology. Symbolism often finds its way into his images, opening a territory he wants to explore further through narrative cinema.
